We wish to dedicate this inaugural International Workshop on Electro-Hydro-Dynamics and Tribo-Electrostatics to the memory of our dear friend and longtime colleague Professor Antonio Castellanos Mata for his extraordinary contributions to the field of EHD and for his inspiring guidance. He leaves behind a legacy that we will all aspire to follow.

This Workshop might be an excellent opportunity for researchers in many scientific and technical areas related to EHD and Tribo-Electrostatics to review progress and discuss future trends.
